Possible explanation of past
this fella was caught in a wild fire that burned up his home. He was forced to flee but didn't get away unscared. The colt had received harsh burns on his chest while attempting to jump a fallen tree.
While he lived alone, the stud had been traveling through some mountain passes. He fell down on some rocks (not from an extreme height though!) and that's where he received his claw like scar on his right flank.
