Here is my entry for [link] (Sunset Valley Show Extravaganza , fancy Carriage event. )

Wow I never realized how much trouble drawing a carriage is! ahh! if i event a carriage show again it'll be a very simple one. and course i'm no good at people yet so I hid Heather mostly.

Heather, the owner of Iron Dune STables (IDS), was busy snapping up the stable's black Percheron mare, Showtime Baby, to the carriage. Heather couldn't help but feel nervous. Even though, she'd been practicing driving this was the first time she'd been in a show with a carriage. In fact she was still a novice! "You going to take care of me girl?" she whispered to the large mare. Showtime sniffed at the girl's cheek as though to reassure her. Showtime Baby had been bought about 7 months ago from another stable who no longer had room for the mare. She was trained in jousting, and pulling carts so a fancy carriage was no big deal to her. She'd been in many shows already at a ripe age of 11 years.

The call was given for drivers to enter the sand ring and Heather walked to the side, hauling herself up before taking the reins. With soft cluck from Heather, the mare walked calmly into the ring. Her powerful hunches pulling the large carriage as though it were made of paper. Showtime never tossed her head, jumped around, or pulled on the bit. She did exactly what she was asked, when asked and arched her neck slightly in her elegant prance around the ring. A horse and carriage in front of them suddenly stopped and backed up, the horse spooked by a small dog in the ring. Heather, felt panic rise in her chest as she saw that she and Showtime were now pinched between the spooked horse in front of them and a large Shire right behind them. As the carriage of the spooked horse continued backwards, the body of the carriage ran into Showtime's chest and the mare snorted, turning her head as though to look at the judges saying 'are you going to deal with this or not?' finally the spooked horse moved forward once more and Heather signed in relief, pleased with the way her mare kept a cool head the whole time.
The rest of the show went by without complications and she hoped the extra show of Showtime's calm nature would rack them some browny points..
